The Rambler family invites the entire Cathedral Prep community to join us in prayer and support for sophomore Xavier Dombkowski. Xavier was recently diagnosed with stage 4B Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, which means that the cancer has spread throughout his body, most notably to his neck, lungs, and around his heart. He began chemotherapy treatments in April and will continue to undergo an aggressive regimen of treatment over the course of the next several months. His doctors are confident that his cancer can be treated, but our brother has a real battle ahead of him.
Last Thursday, we held a PURPLE dress down day to raise awareness for Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, and all funds raised were donated to Xavier’s family. We also prayed together as a school community during our weekly Mass for Xavier as he fights this disease and will continue to support him and his family throughout their battle.
Saint Peregrine, patron of cancer patients, pray for Xavier, his family, and all those caring for him. Mary Queen of Prep, pray for us. #PrayersforXavier #Faith #Family💜
