MedPath hosted a “Lunch and Learn” on Friday. Students had the incredible honor of hearing from a truly inspiring guest, Dr. Paul Wright. Dr. Wright was one of the cardiologists who had the privilege of caring for St. Teresa of Calcutta. He shared his firsthand experiences working with Mother Teresa and the Missionaries of Charity, offering a rare glimpse into her wisdom, humility, and unwavering call to serve.
His talk centered on the age-old question: “What does it mean to live a good life?” He reminded our students that we are all called to compassionately serve, and above all, to love, just as Mother Teresa once told him, and that he lives by Matthew 25:35: "For I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink..." His stories of one-on-one conversations with Mother Teresa were both humbling and inspiring, leaving a lasting impact on everyone in the room.
Students were especially moved by the sacred relics he brought: a rosary gifted to him by Mother Teresa and a prayer card containing a piece of the white sari she wore when she passed away. Many students had the profound opportunity to touch their own rosaries or crosses to these relics, creating a truly unforgettable moment.
We are beyond grateful for this experience and the reminder that medicine is not just about science, it’s about serving with heart, purpose, and above all, love! #MedPath

We want to thank Jeff and Spectrum Control for sharing their knowledge with the students in our STEM Path program! #Prep #STEMPath
