Our Spring Dance Showcase was not only a celebration of months of dedication, discipline, and artistry; it also took place on International Dance Day, making the evening even more meaningful. Around the world, dance is honored as a universal language, and our dancers embodied that spirit with every step, turn, and performance.
This year’s program highlighted a dynamic range of student and teacher choreography, showcasing both the creative voices of our dancers and the guidance of our program. The concert featured a variety of styles including musical theatre tap, jazz, contemporary, and lyrical, with solos, duets, and group pieces that brought depth and diversity to the stage.
From energetic musical theatre tap numbers that lit up the stage with rhythm, personality, and storytelling, to powerful contemporary and lyrical works that explored emotion and vulnerability, each piece offered a unique perspective. Our jazz pieces brought strength, precision, and performance quality, while student-choreographed works reflected individuality, creativity, and risk-taking.
The music selections added another layer of artistry, ranging from modern pop and acoustic tracks to theatrical soundtracks and expressive instrumentals, helping each dance communicate its own story and intention.
We are beyond proud of each and every dancer who shared their passion, vulnerability, and growth on stage. From standout group performances to solos and duets, the showcase reflected the heart of our program and the strength of our community.
A very special spotlight goes to our seniors, Taylor Mendes ’26 and Mischa Castello ’26. Your leadership, commitment, and evolution as artists have left a lasting impact on this program. We wish our seniors the best of luck as they continue with dance in college.
Thank you to our dancers, faculty, families, and supporters who made this night unforgettable. Dance continues to connect, inspire, and tell stories, and we are so proud to be part of that story. #CPDance #SpringShowcase 🩰💃

Under the guidance of Dr. Caitlin Clark, students met professionals from radiology, physical therapy, emergency medicine, pharmacy, anesthesia, physician assistant studies, neonatal care and the president of the hospital, Dr. Chris Clark ’87.
Students explored key hospital areas including the ER, NICU, OR, Cath Lab, and more, gaining firsthand insight into the teamwork and expertise required to care for patients each day.
