• Congratulations to the girls swimming & diving team! They captured their 11th straight D-10 title at SPIRE and are headed to Lewisburg for states! The medley relay of Kara Sanders, Jaslene Cage, Aubrey Bender, and Kendal Johnston took first. Cage took first in the individual medley, while Brianne Ryan took fourth. Johnston won the 50 free. Bender finished second. Sanders took third in the 100 fly. The 200 free relay of Johnston, Haylie Montgomery, Cage, and Bender took first. Bender took first in the 100 free, while Johnston finished second. Sanders finished third in the 100 back. Cage won the 100 breastroke, while Ryan finished fourth. The 400 free relay of Montgomery, Ashley Bender, Sanders, and Ryan finished fourth. Jaslene Cage was named Outstanding Swimmer of the meet for Girls AA, an award presented by the Erie County Aquatics Hall of Fame. Congratulations to Coach Whitman and the team! 🏊♀️🏆

The medley relay of Jack Raimy, Ben Camera, Andrew Dutchcot, and Adam Clark took first. Thomas Fortin took third in the 200 free, while Leighton Leeds took eighth. Jax Calhoun finished fourth in the individual medley. Camera finished fifth, while Josh Bartlett finished eighth. Clark took third in the 50 free. Raimy won the 100 fly, while Jackman Callaway was right behind in second and also qualified for states. Dutchcot finished third. William Grimshawe tied for sixth. The 200 free relay of Callaway, Fortin, Clark, and Raimy finished first. Callaway took second in the 100 free. Clark finished sixth. Fortin took third in the 500 free, while Leeds and JD Cullen took sixth and seventh, respectively. Raimy won the 100 back, while Dutchcot took third. Calhoun finished sixth. In the 100 breaststroke, Camera finished sixth. The 400 free relay of Fortin, Dutchcot, Lochlan Snider-Mills, and Callaway took first. • Congratulations to the wrestling team! They captured the PIAA Northwest AA Regional title. Kamdyn Borrero (139) stood atop the podium in his class. Sam Harrington (172) and Max Spaulding (285) finished third. Mason Gregor (114), Davion Edmond (121), and Omar Arrington (215) finished fourth. All six are headed to Hershey for states! • Make it a four-peat! Congratulations to the Boys Basketball team! They captured the District 10 AAAA championship with a 99-80 win over Sharon. The victory gave the Ramblers their 27th D-10 crown. Ahmari Horton led the way with 29 points. Nando Mirarchi had 25 points. Michael Thompson scored 20 points, while Ashton Wilbur finished with 13 points. • Girls basketball advanced to the PIAA playoffs with their 45-13 subregional victory over Obama Academy. Natalie Spano scored 11 points, while Mia Washburn scored 10 points. 🏀
• Indoor track competed in the PTFCA Indoor State Championship at Penn State. The girls 4x800 relay nabbed a spot on the podium with an eighth-place finish. Fina Bannister, Reagan Johnston, Sophie Becker, and Makayla Stutts moved up after being seeded 16th. 👟

Cadets explored academic pathways in nursing, engineering, and fine arts, speaking directly with faculty and students about what it takes to succeed in each field. They also learned about leadership development and scholarship opportunities through Army ROTC, gaining valuable insight into how military service can help fund a college education.

• Girls varsity basketball won their PIAA subregional matchup against Punxsutawney, 49-12. Natalie Spano had 12 points. Leah Nies scored 11 points, while Seana Thrower had 10 points. They take on Obama Academy on Saturday at the Joann Mullen Gymnasium. Tip off is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. 🏀


• Boys varsity basketball advanced to the D-10 title game with a 95-69 victory over Hickory. Nando Mirarchi paced the Ramblers with 26 points. Ahmari Horton had 23 points, while Michael Thompson scored 20 points. Ashton Wilbur scored 13 points, all of which were in the third quarter. Sharon awaits in the title game on Friday. 🏀

Congratulations to Connor Laird ’26. He has committed to play golf next season on scholarship at Mercyhurst University. Members of Show Choir were at Dubois Area High School this past weekend for the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) Region II Chorus Festival. They were led by guest conductor Frank Bianchi from Baldwin Wallace University and Cleveland Orchestra Chorus. These 160 top musicians from Region II rehearsed and performed an amazing concert that concluded the festival. Theresa Ferraro ’27, Bella Speros ’26, Christian Mungarurire ’27, and Lincoln Laquidara ’27 prepared a folder of music for the auditions that began the festival. In these auditions, students from across all six regions in Pennsylvania auditioned for the top spots at the All-State level. Congratulations to all four of our singers, as well as our Music Director Mr. Alesso. All four placed in the top ten in their sections! In addition, Theresa Ferraro and Bella Speros placed high in their sections and secured their spot at the PMEA All-State level. Congratulations to these two on being two-time All-State musicians! • Varsity hockey shut out Penn-Trafford, 5-0. Garrett Schwartz had a pair of goals while Vinny Scalise, Michael Corritore, and Dylan Graham also found the mesh. Chris Bruschi had two assists. Logan Morris, Hyatt Hetz, Schwartz, and Corritore also had helpers. Matei Moga secured the shutout in goal with 18 saves. 🏒

Competing against talented young scientists from across the state, he presented original research in microbiology and impressed judges with both his scientific understanding and professionalism.
PJAS is a prestigious statewide competition that challenges students in grades 7–12 to conduct independent scientific research and defend their findings before expert judges, a great accomplishment at any level.

• BACK-TO-BACK! Congratulations to Ted Terrizzi. For the second straight year, he won the D-10 AA Diving title at McDowell Intermediate High School. Brother Ed Terrizzi finished right behind in second, while Michael Ferrare finished seventh overall. Ted and Ed are headed to Lewisburg for the PIAA Championship! 💦🏆

• Indoor track took part in the NEOITC All-Star Meet at SPIRE. Fina Bannister finished second in the 800m. Makayla Stutts took sixth. Anne-Catherine Brown finished third in the 1600m, while Sophie Becker finished eighth. Zita Schiedel finished third in the 3200m. Will English finished eighth in the 800m for the boys. The Ramblers also participated in the TSTCA Indoor Championship at Edinboro. The girls 4x800 relay finished third. English finished fifth in the 800m. 👟

• Varsity hockey fell to Armstrong, 8-1. Jaxson Estel scored the lone goal. Matei Moga made 18 saves in net. 🏒

• Girls varsity basketball defeated Cardinal O’Hara (NY), 63-30, in their regular season finale. Natalie Spano led the way with 13 points. Leah Nies and Mia Washburn each had 12 points, while Seana Thrower led the Ramblers with eight assists. They kick off the playoffs next Wednesday against Punxsutawney in a home subregional. 🏀




• Varsity hockey fell to Bishop McCort, 5-1. Chris Bruschi scored the lone goal of an assist by Brady Sack. Matei Moga made 36 saves in net. 🏒
