The Academic Path Programs at Cathedral Prep are designed to give students who have a strong interest in a specific career field access to a higher level of preparation and career exposure in those areas.

Our goal is to continue to provide the academic excellence that Cathedral Prep is known for, while also offering opportunities for deeper and higher impact learning experiences, mentorship from industry experts, and career shadowing. Paths are designed for preparation in the areas of business, civics, medical sciences, and STEM fields.

Academic Requirement: All students who apply for and are a part of an Academic Path Program must have and maintain a GPA of at least a 3.0. Specific paths may have additional requirements.

Advantages of Academic Path Programs:

1. Rigorous and focused curricular expectations.

2. Methodical career discernment and exploration through in school course work and cocurricular opportunities like guest speakers, field trips, and shadowing opportunities.

3. Faith based, moral and ethical traditions and values instilled in each path to ensure Mission Focus throughout the program and beyond.

4. Exposure to nationally and regionally recognized post-secondary programs in associated fields and the formation of career readiness skills on a variety of levels.
